Alienware has launched two new gaming laptops, the Alienware 16 Aurora and Alienware 16X Aurora, expanding its lineup with powerful yet portable options for gamers and creators.
Both models were announced on Friday and are available in North America, with global availability yet to be confirmed. Pricing starts at $1,149 (roughly ₹98,100) for the Aurora 16 and $1,949 (about ₹1,66,500) for the Aurora 16X.
The new Aurora series brings a fresh AW30 design, featuring a slim profile, an Interstellar Indigo finish, and an iridescent badge. Laptops are built for versatility, gaming, work, or travel. Alienware has removed the rear thermal shelf, making these laptops more backpack-friendly, and introduced a new Cryo-Chamber cooling system for efficient heat management.
Both models offer a 16-inch QHD+ IPS display with up to 240Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness on the 16X Aurora, while the regular Aurora 16 gets a 120Hz panel.
NVIDIA G-SYNC support ensures smooth visuals for fast-paced games. The laptops can be configured with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 CPUs, up to 64GB RAM, and up to 2TB SSD storage. Graphics options go up to the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU.
Connectivity is modern, with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, multiple USB-A and USB-C ports (including Thunderbolt 4 support), HDMI 2.1, Ethernet, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Aurora 16 offers 60Wh or 96Wh battery options, while the 16X Aurora comes with a 96Wh battery. Both models include a Stealth Mode, which dims RGB lighting and reduces fan noise for quiet environments like classrooms or meetings.
While Indian availability is not yet announced, the new Alienware Aurora laptops are set to appeal to gamers and professionals looking for high performance in a stylish, easy-to-carry package.
