Leaker HakaSushi says DJI’s next consumer drone will be the Mavic 4 Pro, not the Mini 5 series, set to launch on May 13, 2025.

HakaSushi added that the Mini 5 Pro remains scheduled for September 2025. “I have received reliable info that it is indeed scheduled for SEPTEMBER,” HakaSushi wrote on X.

Main Update: Mavic 4 Pro Launch

DJI’s teaser invites fans to a ‘Spin Your World’ online event on May 13, 2025, at 12:00 UTC, marking two years since the Mavic 3 Pro debut.

Past leaks indicate the Mavic 4 Pro will feature a triple-camera setup with a 1/1.3″ main sensor, electronic ND filters, up to 20 km transmission range and 4K/120 fps recording; a Fly More Combo with RC 2 controller could push prices above ₹1.8 lakh in India.

Mini 5 Pro Delayed to September

By contrast, the Mini 5 Pro aims to stay ultralight and under 250 g with a one-inch sensor, LiDAR obstacle avoidance and a 50-minute flight time.

Despite early public tests, fans must wait until September for the Mini 5 Pro, extending DJI’s Mini series cycle beyond two years.

Industry watchers expect the Mini 5 Pro to start around ₹80,000–₹90,000, reflecting its larger sensor and LiDAR upgrades.

DJI plans to stream the event online; Indian customers might see the Mavic 4 Pro ship by late May via authorised retailers and online portals.
