DJI, a leader in drones and action cameras, is making headlines as dozens of images of its first 360-degree action camera, the Osmo 360, have surfaced online. These leaks, including product photos and user manual screenshots, offer the clearest look yet at DJI’s long-rumoured entry into the immersive camera market.
The leaked images show a design strikingly similar to the GoPro Max, with a compact, dual-lens setup.
According to details from the FCC certification process, the Osmo 360 features a touchscreen display, a 1,950 mAh battery (the same used in recent Osmo Action models), and compatibility with the DJI Mimo app for easy control and editing.
Rumours suggest the camera could include high-resolution sensors, advanced stabilization like HorizonSteady, and smart features such as AI subject tracking and time-lapse modes. These would position the Osmo 360 as a strong competitor to the Insta360 X5 and GoPro Max, both popular among action and adventure creators.
Despite the excitement, industry experts caution that the Osmo 360 has not yet appeared with resellers or in the hands of testers, raising questions about its immediate release.
Some speculate that trade tariffs and market timing could delay or even halt its launch, but the FCC filing and leaked documentation suggest DJI is serious about entering the 360-degree camera space soon.

If launched, the DJI Osmo 360 could shake up the 360 camera market, leveraging DJI’s expertise in stabilization and imaging to deliver smooth, immersive footage. For now, fans and creators must wait for official confirmation and launch details from DJI.
