GMKtec has officially released its EVO-X2 mini PC worldwide, making it one of the most powerful compact computers on the market today.
The highlight of the EVO-X2 is its AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 Strix Halo processor, which brings 16 Zen 5 CPU cores and a Radeon RX 8060S iGPU with 40 Compute Units. This combination delivers performance that rivals high-end gaming laptops and desktops, matching the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU in many benchmarks.
The EVO-X2 is available in two main configurations: one with 64 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB SSD for $1,399, and another with a massive 128 GB RAM and 2 TB SSD for a $400 premium. This makes it a top choice for users who need serious multitasking power, AI processing, or heavy content creation.
For AI workloads, the EVO-X2 stands out. Its XDNA 2 NPU delivers up to 50 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second) of AI performance, enabling local deployment of large AI models and outperforming even some top-tier desktop GPUs in AI inference tasks.
The mini PC also features Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, and multiple video outputs, making it highly versatile for both work and play.
GMKtec’s EVO-X2 is already available for pre-order, with shipping set to begin on May 20. The device is being sold through GMKtec’s own store and Amazon, ensuring wide availability for tech enthusiasts globally.

With its compact design, advanced cooling system, and cutting-edge specs, the EVO-X2 is set to redefine what’s possible in the mini PC space-especially for users demanding top-tier AI and graphics performance in a small footprint.
