Honda’s most affordable electric scooter QC1 has been officially launched in India at ₹90,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), making electric mobility accessible to budget-conscious buyers.
The Honda QC1 was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in January, with deliveries starting from February 2025. The scooter is initially available in six major cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh.
Key Specifications and Performance
The QC1 features a 1.5 kWh fixed battery pack that delivers an impressive 80 km range on a single charge. The electric scooter is powered by an in-wheel motor producing 1.8 kW peak power and 77 Nm torque, enabling a top speed of 50 kmph.
The scooter offers two riding modes – Eco and Standard – allowing riders to optimize performance based on their needs. Real-world testing suggests an actual range of approximately 50-55 km under normal riding conditions.
Charging and Battery Details
The QC1 comes with a 330W off-board charger that takes 4 hours 30 minutes to charge from 0-80% and 6 hours 30 minutes for a complete charge. Honda provides an impressive 5-year or 50,000 km warranty on both the battery and vehicle.
Smart Features and Design
The scooter includes modern features like a 5-inch LCD display, full LED lighting, USB Type-C charging port, and 26-liter underseat storage. The QC1 is available in five attractive colors: Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Misty White, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, and Pearl Shallow Blue.
Bookings are now open with a token amount of just ₹1,000, making it an attractive option for first-time electric vehicle buyers in India.
