Rumours about the future of the Intel Arc B770 graphics card have been circulating for months. While many believed the high-end GPU was cancelled, a trusted X leaker known as OneRaichu now says the Arc B770 is not dead and could be revealed soon-possibly at Computex 2025.
The Arc B770 was initially rumoured to be delayed or even scrapped due to technical issues, with some reports suggesting Intel had mothballed the project altogether. However, recent leaks show that three new Battlemage GPUs were added to the PCIe database, and one of them is likely the B770. Shipping manifests have also referenced a powerful BMG-G31 GPU die, which is believed to be the heart of the Arc B770.
If these leaks are accurate, the Arc B770 will feature up to 32 Xe cores and 16 GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 256-bit bus. This would put it in direct competition with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super and possibly even the RTX 4080, offering gamers and creators a new alternative in the high-performance segment.
Industry watchers say a well-priced Arc B770 could help Intel gain much-needed market share, especially as Nvidia and AMD GPUs remain hard to find at their original prices. However, stock availability could be a challenge, as seen with previous Intel GPU launches.
Experts expect any official news about the Arc B770 to arrive at Computex 2025 (May 20-23), where AMD is also set to showcase its new Radeon RX 9060 XT series. If Intel delivers, the Arc B770 could make the graphics card market more competitive and exciting for everyone.
