The Jeep Compass has made a big leap into the future. For the first time, Jeep has unveiled an all-electric Compass SUV, along with hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants.
This new generation, built on the STLA Medium platform, brings a fresh design, more space, and the latest technology to one of Jeep’s most popular models.
Electric Power, More Space
The electric Compass offers up to 650 km of driving range on a single charge (WLTP standard), making it one of the most competitive EVs in its class.
Fast charging is supported, with a 20% to 80% charge possible in just 30 minutes using a 160 kW DC charger. The SUV comes with front-wheel and all-wheel drive options, with the top AWD variant delivering up to 375 HP and strong off-road capability.

Inside, the Compass features a modern cabin with a 16-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10-inch digital cluster, and premium touches like contrast stitching and a dual-pane sunroof.
Level 2 autonomous driving, Matrix LED headlights, and over-the-air updates are also included in higher trims.
Launch Timeline and India Plans
The upcoming Compass EV will first launch in Europe, with deliveries starting in late 2025.
According to reports, Jeep plans to bring this model to India in 2026, offering Indian buyers a premium, eco-friendly SUV with advanced features and multiple powertrain choices.
With the Renegade and Cherokee retiring, the Compass is now Jeep’s most affordable global SUV-and its first fully electric. The move signals Jeep’s commitment to electric mobility and gives Indian SUV fans something exciting to look forward to.
