Lenovo has officially launched the Legion Y700 4th generation gaming tablet in China, packing the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for top-tier gaming performance.

The new tablet, expected to launch globally as Legion Tab Gen 4, brings several upgrades over its predecessor, making it a strong contender in the compact gaming tablet segment.

The Legion Y700 4th Gen features an 8.8-inch display with a sharp 3040×1904 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits brightness, up from last year’s 400 nits. Lenovo has also included LPDDR5X “Ultra” RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for faster load times and smoother multitasking.

Flagship Specs for Gamers

The tablet is available in two variants: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage. Prices start at CNY 3,299 (about ₹38,000), with the highest-end model starting at CNY 3,799 (around ₹44,000).

The device also features a 7,600mAh battery-an upgrade from the previous 6,550mAh-supporting 68W fast charging and bypass charging for uninterrupted gaming sessions.

Lenovo’s new Center Cooling Architecture 2.0 uses a 12,000mm² vapor chamber to keep the tablet cool during long gaming marathons. The device remains slim at 6.99mm and weighs just 340g, making it easy to carry.

The tablet also supports a TF card up to 2TB and comes with a special accessory that turns it into a handheld gaming device.

The Legion Y700 4th Gen stands out against rivals like the iPad Mini and Samsung Galaxy Tab series by offering a higher refresh rate and gaming-focused features.

Indian availability is yet to be announced, but the global launch is expected soon.
