Both electric SUVs now come with wireless smartphone connectivity as standard across all variants, ending months of customer wait.

Mahindra has rolled out a major software update for its XEV 9e and BE6 electric SUVs. Both models now support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto across all variants.

This upgrade addresses one of the most requested features from early buyers who have been waiting since launch. All new deliveries now come with this feature pre-installed, eliminating future updates.

Wireless Connectivity Now Standard Across All Variants

The wireless smartphone integration is available on all trim levels of both SUVs. From the base Pack One to the top-end Pack Three, every variant now includes this feature as standard.

New cars leaving Mahindra factories come with updated software pre-installed, so buyers don’t need additional updates.

The wireless system runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset and works seamlessly with cars’ advanced infotainment setup. Both SUVs feature dual 12.3-inch displays, 5G connectivity, built-in apps, and remote vehicle control features.

What This Means for Existing Owners

Current owners of the XEV 9e and BE6 will need to visit their nearest Mahindra dealership to get the software update. The company has not yet confirmed if this update will be available over-the-air (OTA).
