OnePlus is ready to break its own battery capacity records with the Ace 5 Racing Edition, which launches tomorrow in China. The smartphone will pack a massive 7,100mAh battery – the largest ever seen in a OnePlus device.
According to a report by The Tech Outlook, OnePlus claims this huge battery will deliver exceptional endurance for users. The company promises 7 hours of continuous gaming at full frame rates and an impressive 26 hours of video streaming.
Gaming Performance Gets Major Boost
The Ace 5 Racing Edition targets serious mobile gamers with its MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset and specialized gaming features. OnePlus has included the E-sports Three Core System with dedicated gaming chips for enhanced performance.
The device will support native 120fps in large open-world mobile games and 120fps in Peace Elite. OnePlus also promises smooth gameplay during critical moments with 1% low frame rate support.
Launch Details and Availability
OnePlus will officially unveil the Ace 5 Racing Edition alongside the Ace 5 Ultra on May 27, 2025 in China. The launch event will also introduce OnePlus Buds 4 earbuds and a Super Dimensional Sports Bag.
Early specifications suggest the device will feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 100W fast charging support. The phone is expected to run Android 15 with ColorOS 15.
While pricing remains unconfirmed, industry experts estimate the device could be priced around ₹29,990 if it launches in India.
