Oukitel has unveiled the WP300, a groundbreaking modular smartphone designed for adventurers, field professionals, and tech enthusiasts.
This device stands out as the world’s first industrial-grade modular smartphone, offering a unique all-in-one solution by integrating a detachable Bluetooth earbud that doubles as a smartwatch and a powerful camping LED light.
The WP300’s modular system allows users to swap between two main modules:
- Earbud-Smartwatch Module: This Bluetooth earbud features a colour LCD screen, displays notifications, tracks health metrics like heart rate, and can be worn on a wristband as a smartwatch.
- Camping LED Light Module: Designed for outdoor activities, this extra-bright LED light can be attached to a wristband, making it perfect for camping or emergencies.
Built to survive in tough environments, the WP300 comes with IP69, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H certifications for water, dust, and shock resistance.
It features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for extra durability.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, paired with 12GB RAM (expandable up to 36GB) and 512GB storage (expandable up to 2TB), ensuring smooth multitasking and ample space for all your needs.
One of the WP300’s biggest highlights is its massive 16,000mAh battery, supporting 45W fast charging and 18W reverse charging to power other devices on the go.
The camera setup includes a 108MP main camera and a 32MP front camera for high-quality photos and selfies.
The Oukitel WP300 runs on Android 15 and includes features like a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC, and the choice between dual SIM or microSD expansion.
Priced at $599, early adopters can grab it for $399 by registering on Oukitel’s landing page. The WP300 will debut exclusively on Kickstarter at the end of May 2025, following the WP100 Titan’s success.
