Xiaomi has launched a refreshed Redmi G27 gaming monitor in China with significant upgrades and one notable downgrade.
The updated model, P27FDA-RG, features a 200Hz Fast IPS panel that promises a smoother gaming experience for competitive players. The G27 monitor is currently available at a launch price of CNY 669 (approximately $93 or ₹7,800) in China.
Key Features and Specifications
The new Redmi G27 comes with a 27-inch IPS display that supports AdaptiveSync technology for tear-free gaming. The monitor boasts a 1ms GTG response time, making it ideal for fast-paced competitive gaming scenarios.
The display features HDR 400 certification and covers 94% of the DCI-P3 color space, ensuring vibrant colors and improved visual quality during gaming sessions. However, the new model uses FHD resolution instead of the QHD screen found in the previous generation.
Design and Connectivity
The gaming monitor features narrow bezels that make it suitable for multi-monitor setups. The bundled stand includes a cable management port and has a sleek design.
For connectivity, the Redmi G27 offers one HDMI 2.0 port, one DisplayPort 1.4, and one 3.5mm audio jack. The monitor also includes a joystick on the back for easy navigation through the on-screen menu.
Availability and Pricing
Currently, Xiaomi has only announced the monitor’s availability in China through the Xiaomi Youpin platform. The company has not revealed any details about global availability or international pricing for the refreshed gaming monitor.
