Revolt Motors has launched the RV1 electric motorcycle in India, making it the country’s most affordable electric bike starting at ₹84,990 for the base variant and going up to ₹99,990 for the RV1+ model.
The Revolt RV1 comes in two variants with different battery capacities and ranges. The standard model features a 2.2kWh battery delivering 100km range, while the RV1+ variant packs a larger 3.24kWh battery offering an impressive 160km range on a single charge.
Key Performance Specifications
Both variants deliver a top speed of 70-75kmph and are powered by a 2.8kW mid-drive motor. The RV1 weighs 108-110kg and offers a comfortable 790mm seat height, making it suitable for Indian riders.
The charging capabilities differ between variants. The standard RV1 takes 4.5 hours for a complete charge, while the RV1+ supports fast charging with 0-80% charging in 3.5 hours using normal charging and just 1 hour 20 minutes with fast charging.
Smart Features and Design
The motorcycle features a 6-inch LCD digital instrument cluster displaying speed, battery status, range, and time. It comes with three riding modes – Eco, Normal, and Sports – plus a dedicated reverse mode for easy maneuvering.
Safety features include 240mm disc brakes at both front and rear, telescopic front forks, and LED headlamp with DRL. The bike offers a 250kg payload capacity and comes with a removable battery for convenient charging.

The Revolt RV1 is available in four attractive colors: Cosmic Black Red, Titan Red Silver, Black Neon Green, and Black Midnight Blue. Revolt offers a comprehensive 5-year or 75,000km warranty on both the vehicle and battery.
With current offers, the effective price drops to ₹74,990 for the base model and ₹83,790 for the RV1+, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers seeking electric mobility.
