Roborock is making waves in the smart home market with the Saros Z70, a revolutionary robot vacuum featuring a foldable five-axis robotic arm called OmniGrip.

After its initial launch in the US, the Saros Z70 is now rolling out to more countries, including major European markets, Singapore, and Australia, throughout the first half of 2025.

The standout feature of the Saros Z70 is its OmniGrip robotic arm, which can pick up everyday obstacles like socks, small towels, tissues, and even sandals weighing up to 300 grams. This means the vacuum can clear its own path, cleaning areas that traditional robot vacuums often miss. The arm uses advanced sensors, cameras, and AI to recognize and gently handle objects, making it safe and efficient for homes with kids and pets.

Beyond the arm, the Saros Z70 boasts powerful 22,000Pa suction, dual spinning mops, and advanced navigation powered by Roborock’s latest StarSight Autonomous System 2.0. At just 7.98cm tall, it can glide under low furniture for a more thorough clean.

Users can control the vacuum through voice assistants or via the Roborock app, and the device supports smart home integrations.

Experts say the Saros Z70 marks a major leap in home automation. It turns the robot vacuum into a true home assistant capable of simple household tasks.

Roborock’s CEO notes that customer feedback drove the design, addressing common frustrations like robots getting stuck or leaving clutter behind.

In Australia, the Saros Z70 is priced at $1,899 and comes with promotional bundles, including a free second vacuum for early buyers. Launches in Europe and Singapore are scheduled for May, with pre-orders already open in several regions.
