Samsung is all set to unveil its most anticipated smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, tomorrow, May 13, 2025.
The launch event will be streamed live at 5:30 am IST on Samsung’s official YouTube channel and website, making it easy for fans across India to tune in. According to IndiaToday, this launch marks the global debut of what Samsung calls its “slimmest Galaxy S series” device ever.
The Galaxy S25 Edge stands out for its ultra-thin profile, measuring just 5.85mm thick and weighing about 163 grams. Despite its slim form, it packs flagship hardware, including the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. The phone will run on the latest Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7.
A major highlight is the 200MP main camera, the same high-resolution sensor found in the Galaxy S25 Ultra, promising sharp photos and advanced AI-powered features. The device also includes a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 12MP selfie camera. Samsung is focusing on software enhancements for improved low-light and HDR photography.
The S25 Edge features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for added durability. It carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, making it both stylish and robust.
Battery capacity is 3,900mAh, supporting 25W wired and wireless charging. While smaller than some rivals, Samsung promises software optimizations for efficient daily use.
The S25 Edge will be available in three colours: Titanium Silver, Titanium Icyblue, and Titanium Jet Black. Pricing and availability for India are expected to be announced during the event.
With its blend of style, advanced camera tech, and AI features, the Galaxy S25 Edge is set to compete directly with other premium phones, offering Indian consumers a fresh choice in the flagship segment.
