Shokz, known for its open-ear and bone conduction headphones, has launched the all-new OpenDots ONE-its first clip-on, open-ear true wireless earbuds. Designed for intense workouts, sports, and everyday activities, the OpenDots ONE brings a fresh approach to audio with a focus on comfort, safety, and sound quality.
The OpenDots ONE stands out with its innovative clip-on design. Each earbud weighs just 6.5 grams and uses a flexible nickel-titanium “JointArc” hook, wrapped in soft silicone, to gently clip onto your ear. This ensures a secure, comfortable fit even during vigorous movement, while keeping your ears open to the sounds around you-important for outdoor runners and cyclists.
For sound, Shokz introduces Bassphere Technology with dual 11.8mm drivers in each bud, delivering punchy bass and crisp highs. The OpenDots ONE is Shokz’s first product to feature Dolby Audio (not to be confused with Dolby Atmos), which enhances stereo sound for clearer voices and more balanced music. You can toggle Dolby Audio and customize EQ settings in the Shokz app.
A key highlight is DirectPitch™ Technology, which uses special vents and sound wave manipulation to minimize audio leakage, so your music stays private even with an open-ear design. For calls, dual microphones with AI-powered noise reduction ensure your voice comes through clearly, even in noisy environments.
The earbuds offer up to 10 hours of playback per charge, with an extra 30-40 hours from the wireless charging case. A 10-minute quick charge gives you 2 hours of listening, perfect for last-minute workouts. The IP54 water resistance rating means they can handle sweat and light rain, making them suitable for any activity.
Other smart features include dynamic ear detection (wear either bud on any ear), multipoint Bluetooth pairing, and customizable touch controls. The OpenDots ONE is available in Black and Grey, priced at $199 (about ₹16,500), making it a strong competitor to pricier rivals like the Bose Ultra Open.
