Suneast has introduced the Nano, the world’s shortest USB-C flash drive, designed for easy use on smartphones, laptops, and tablets. The Nano stands out for its tiny size, extending only 10.6 mm from the USB-C port.
This makes it less likely to break or get in the way when left plugged in. The drive weighs just 2.8 grams and measures 10.6 × 20 × 13.5 mm, making it easy to carry and almost invisible when attached.
The Suneast Nano comes in three storage options-128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Prices in Japan are set at 3,980 yen (about ₹2,000), 6,980 yen (about ₹3,600), and 12,980 yen (about ₹6,700) respectively.
The drive uses USB 3.2 Gen 1 technology, offering fast transfer speeds with up to 450 MB/s read and 400 MB/s write rates. It is formatted in exFAT for broad compatibility and works with Windows 10/11, Mac OS 15 or later, Linux, Android 14 or later, iOS 18.0.1 or later (iPhone 15 and up), and iPad Pro with iPadOS 17.6.1 or later.
Ultra-Compact, Always Ready
The Nano’s size means it can stay plugged in while you move around. This makes it ideal for students, professionals, or anyone who needs quick, portable storage. However, users are advised not to leave it attached in environments with strong external pressure to avoid damage.
Fast, Versatile, and Ready for Modern Devices
With its high speeds and compatibility, the Nano is a smart choice for transferring large files, backing up photos, or expanding your phone’s storage. Compared to regular USB drives, its compact design and fast performance make it stand out on the market.
Currently, the Suneast Nano is available at major electronics stores in Japan, such as Bic Camera. There is no official word yet on its launch in India or other countries.
