Xiaomi has launched its latest home appliance, the Mijia Water Purifier S1 (1000G), designed to deliver clean and safe drinking water at home.
The new purifier is now available for pre-order in China at 1,599 yuan (around ₹18,500), with official sales beginning on May 8.
The key highlight of the Mijia Water Purifier S1 is its fast filtration speed-it can purify water at up to 2.65 liters per minute. This means you can fill a standard glass of water in just a few seconds, making it ideal for busy households.
The purifier uses a six-stage filtration system, including a reverse osmosis (RO) membrane, to remove bacteria, heavy metals, sediment, and chlorine. It also features two carbon rods to improve water taste and a long-acting scale inhibitor to reduce calcium and magnesium buildup.
A standout feature is the smart touch display on the faucet, which shows real-time water quality data like TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) values.
The display also alerts users to filter status and any maintenance needs. Users can monitor water quality and purchase replacement filters directly through the Mijia app.
Compared to previous models, the S1 offers quieter operation thanks to its four-cavity bass pump. It promises a filter lifespan of up to five years, reducing maintenance costs.
